John from Wyatt Brothers interview by the BBC
With the recent incident that happened at Efford Crematorium, the BBC wanted a highly respected, local, independant funeral directors to discuss the impact it had on both the funeral directors and the bereaved families.
Wyatt Brothers agreed to host the BBC’s team at the office in Stonehouse, Plymouth, with John from Wyatt’s discussing the matters at hand. This interview was shown on BBC spotlight that very night.
Efford is still unusable as a crematorium until further notice and therefore all cremation funerals and services are taking place at Weston Mill Crematorium, which has seen waiting times for funerals slightly increase.
Our families have been very understanding, which has made the whole unfortunate situation much easier to cope with.
