Giving back to Plymouth

Service to the community

At Wyatt Brothers, we strongly believe in giving back to our community. We actively support various local organizations, including a collaborative project between Tectona Trust and the charity Shekinah. This initiative provides individuals in recovery from substance abuse with valuable life skills through their participation on-board the ship, Tectona.

Additionally, we take pride in funding sports kits for the Plymouth School of Creative Arts in Millbay. Furthermore, we were honoured to serve as kit sponsors for the Barbican Pirates FC, a football team competing in the Plymouth and West Devon League. These efforts reflect our dedication to supporting educational and sporting initiatives within our community.

During our brief visit to the ship Tectona after making our donation, we captured a memorable moment in a photograph. Seeing the direct impact of our contribution on individuals in their recovery journey was heartwarming. Witnessing how the partnership between Tectona Trust and Shekinah empowers individuals in their pursuit of valuable life skills left a lasting impression on us. This snapshot serves as a poignant reminder of the positive change we are privileged to be a part of in our community.

Our excitement is profound as we made a substantial donation to The Salvation Army, acknowledging the vital work they do in providing aid to those in need. Supporting their efforts felt like a compelling choice, as their dedication to serving vulnerable individuals and communities aligns with our own values. We are grateful for the chance to contribute to their mission, and together, we can make a positive impact and bring hope to those who require assistance the most.
